Ivan Jones is a British writer of fiction. His work includes novels, picture books, plays, poetry anthologies, television series and many adaptations for BBC Radio.
Best known are The Ghost Hunter series, published by Scholastic, which were also adapted into three six-part BBC television series. Two ninety minute television films were also made from the series.
Other titles include The Ghost Hunter at Chillwood Castle and The Ghost Hunter’s House of Horror. He has published picture books: The Lazy Giant (with Oxford University Press) and The Golden Cage (with Andersen Press). With Puffin Books he published the best-selling Adventures of Zot the Dog, Zot’s Treasures, Zot Goes Camping and Zot Solves It.
His latest work is a novelistic memoir of a 1950’s childhood, set in post-war Britain called ‘Now The War Is Over’.
